Why Performance Marketing is the Skill of the Decade
A practical introduction to the thinking behind a good campaign, from audience insight to meaningful measurement.
Start with a question, not an ad
A campaign begins before an ad account opens. Who are you trying to reach? What problem are they solving? What action would make sense for them next? A clear brief gives every creative choice and measurement a purpose.
Make one useful hypothesis
Choose a specific idea to test. Perhaps a product demonstration will communicate value more clearly than a feature list. Keep the audience, message and landing experience connected so that the result can teach you something.
Measure the whole journey
Clicks can show interest, but they do not tell the whole story. Look at the experience after the click, the quality of the action and the cost of learning. A short, readable report is more useful than a dashboard full of unexplained numbers.
Build a practice project
Choose a fictional brand, define its audience and write a campaign brief. Produce two creative directions and explain what you would compare. You can demonstrate sound thinking without spending money or claiming results you have not measured.
Progress starts with a little curiosity, followed by a little practice.
