From a working page to a finished website.
A thoughtful checklist for the moment before you share your first build.
Follow every route
Visit the pages from the navigation, footer and buttons. Check that meaningful links lead somewhere useful and that a missing route gives a clear way back. Remove controls that do not have a real purpose yet.
Try it beyond your laptop
Use a narrow viewport, move through the page with a keyboard and check the contrast of text on different backgrounds. Make images flexible and keep interactive targets comfortable to reach.
Share the work with context
Explain the project, the tools and the choices you made. Mark demonstration data clearly and never put passwords or private client material into a public repository. A considered handover is part of finishing the work.
Progress starts with a little curiosity, followed by a little practice.
